Jim Herron Ltd. is a Springfield, Illinois menswear store founded in 1975 that was purchased in 2006 by Marc Maslauski, who had worked there for 15 years. Marc, a former college golfer who transitioned from the PGA apprentice program into retail, relocated the business from downtown to the west side of Springfield and expanded it to include both men’s and women’s shoes alongside quality menswear.
The store has adapted to changing fashion trends by shifting from primarily suits to more casual wear while maintaining its focus on premium fabrics, exceptional service, and personalized customer experiences—with Marc keeping the original store name to honor its founder.
